Formats
Several
invited speakers have been asked for a contribution. Furthermore,
presentations are expected - in particular, from young authors -
that cover the broad range of topics as outlined under the scope
of this Workshop.
The
presentation format will be discussed with the authors: We
encourage the submission of contributions that consist of video
and software demonstrations, proposals and position papers as well
as traditional academic papers. All together we will give time and
space for a real Workshop character.
Publication
All
accepted papers (and eventually some demo materials) will be published
on this website. As a pre-requisite for the inclusion into
the final program and the publication on the website we ask at least
one author to register to the workshop.

Furthermore
we have negotiated a special issue of "Computers,
Environment and Urban Systems (CEUS)" to showcase
work presented at the Workshop.
Following
the Workshop participants will be asked to consider submitting
a paper based upon the work presented and the feedback provided
for submission to CEUS.
The
special issue will consist of externally peer-reviewed
papers and multimedia and/or interactive materials that
support the 'Geovisualization and the Digital City' theme.
Publication is planned for early 2010 - a provisional timeline
is provided on the right hand side.
CEUS
is an international journal that is covered by the ISI Web
of Knowledge (more...).
